Regional workshop of four days organized on “A study of School Assessment & Examination Practices and Equivalence of Boards” initiated by Nagaland board of School Education (NBSE) in collaboration with PARAKH- a constituent unit of National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi was held at NBSE Conference Hall, Kohima.
Dr. Kekherielhoulie Yhome, MLA & Advisor, School Education and SCERT were special guest for this programme. In addition, eminent dignitaries Chairperson of NBSE, Asano Sekhose; Joint Secretary of NBSE, Illuheing Nsarangbe; Professor of NCERT, M.V Srinivasan; Chairperson of BOSSE, Dr.Kuldeep Agarwal; Academic Officer of BOSSE, Ms Nidhi Kapoor, attended the workshop.
The workshop aims to address the challenges and explore potential solutions related to the varying quality and standardization of educational boards across the country and integrating credit of school education, higher education, vocational education, and experiential learning, promoting a comprehensive and flexible approach to credit recognition with multiple exit options. The programme was chaired by Rangumbuing Nsaranmgbe, Secretary of NBSE while Academic Officer of NBSE, Dziesevolie Tsurho , pronounced the invocation.
